HEADSAIL

"I received the headsail two days ago and you did a great job in restoration. As you know, this is really an old sail, but you have truly come through on this repair., Your customer service is a cut above anything I have ever encountered in any business, and I appreciate it very much."

KAPPA CUT GENOA

"OMG, I am not worthy of this sail. If is the most remarkable genny I have ever seen and certainly is most extraordinary engine I have ever been able to use. Truly, this sail is a work of art. I’ve attached a partial picture (guess I’d need a bigger boat to be able to step far enough back to capture the whole thing <grin>) that I took while just doing a sea trial of it last Sunday. I sailed under it alone. Made 7.5 kts SOG while close-hauled at about as high a point as I used to be able to sail with both my old genny and main up…..unbelievable! The fit is perfect. The lines stunning. Control is absolute. I came home from his short trial with a grin on my fact that lasted right through to Monday morning (i.e. , work). Words truly can not describe my reaction to this sail; it makes me want to be a better sailor (fat chance). I love my boat so much more because of it! Actually, my heart previously had always gone out to C&Cs, Tartans, and Sabres, but with your genny aboard my Catalina, who needs one of those!

Again I can’t thank you enough for your beautiful design and work. I hope that if you’re ever out on the North Fork of Long Island (Greenport),you stop by for a look and/or a cruise."

Jon Schneider, Greenport, NY

REEFABLE GENOA

"Today, was the first day I was able to sail with your sail. The shape, height, everything is perfect!!!!! We sailed from 20 knot winds to 5 knot winds. I am glad you kind of talked me in to the roller furling. I know I talked myself into it.

I will send you a picture. You may use them as you wish. I will actively promote Kappa Sails every chance I get!!!!"

PERFORMANCE MAIN
I REALLY LOVE MY NEW KAPPA MAIN SAIL!

"We didn’t get a chance to sail until Sunday morning. I rigged the sail late Saturday. Sunday, about mid-day, we tried out the sail in about 8-10 knots of wind. I like the shape, it looks really good. It seams that we can point about 5 degrees higher, and we are sailing flatter. This sail is more than I expected”

John and Nancy Martin, Cape Dory 31 ‘Carina’

SCHAEFER FURLER

"Just a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the sails and new Schaefer furler we have installed on our 1967 Graves Constellation 30’ sloop “Weetamoo”. The Mainsail you made for us in 2006 us now matched up with the 2008 Reefing Genoa, and with the new Furler, we have moved into the 21st Century. Mr. Graves of Marblehead, MA has to be casting a smile down on us, knowing his constellation Sailing Vessel #17 Weetaboo is again a skipper’s delight.

Thanks for helping us outfit our boat. She is beautiful to see under full canvas, and dream to sail.

Your advice, workmanship and personal interest are greatly appreciated."
